MTD Bus Transportation
Getting around Urbana-Champaign by bus is easy using the local transit system called the Mass Transit District or MTD. Your student fees include a transportation fee so your i-card works as your bus pass giving you unlimited access to all buses at all times!
You can pick up a brochure with route and schedule information from the Information Desk in the Illini Union, on any bus, or, online at www.cumtd.com.
In it you will find additional information about discounted passes and tokens for school-age children and spouses. The MTD also offers the MTD SafeRides program that is available during hours when regular bus service is not in operation. Call 265-7433.
